We have a demented Cardinal that keeps flying into our living room window. He has been doing this for the past three days now. Now, I understand that it is very early spring and nesting season is about to begin but this is bloody silly. What the hell is it trying to do? Short of opening the door and inviting him in I'm not sure what else to do. What a blithering idiot. Very pretty but really dumb.Carpe Diem.
Its 36 degrees F outside, maybe its cold and not so dumb.

ReplyDeleteHaving responded to you privately via email, I just want to post a note in your blog. Ade--you are awesome in so many ways! You are not a wuss--far from it! You trudge on, despite the crap you have to endure, and while you're fighting your battle, you encourage the world to help others who are less fortunate. Dennis's letters are so hard to read and absorb. What unimaginable hardship those children and families have to endure! Most of us have no freaking idea what it's like to truly struggle and suffer against such terrible circumstances! As far as I'm concerned, you're the man in getting this out to us.
And re: the gray. You look damn good! It gives you an air of sophistication--go with it! (As I am going with mine. :-) )
