Off to Zimgabe

I’m off on another Zim trip for some well deserved R & R. I managed to fit the trip quite well between chemo treatments. I am really looking forward to seeing the Zimkids and also the Center. I cannot wait to see how far we have come along with the project. I am so proud and honored to be a part of this. I am truly amazed at how much blood, sweat and smiles Dennis, Tinashe and the rest of the gang have invested in this wonderful endevour. That’s not to  forget the incredibly generous donors M & M. Thank you all so much.

The move

“The Move” you ask ?

Diana and I have decided to seperate. Things are quite amicable right now and let’s hope it stays that way ! The kids have been very supportive and really understand and accept what has developed. Poor Max is quite confused but sadly that’s par for the course.

Hopefully, whatever the future brings will be beneficial and good for all parties. I only wish Diana (my wife of almost 26 years and the mother of our 2 fantastic kids) well.

Chemo 24 (Round 7)

All is well with some minor changes. I have lost 3 lbs. and I know why. I simply forgot to eat during this move. My blood pressure was slightly elevated. Once more I can attribute it to the move. But the blood work was all good. Even the protein in the urine was down a bit. All in all, a good session. I got my B12 injection today. It’s supposed to do something good for me but who the hell knows what.

I now have 4 weeks off until my next session as I will be heading to Zimgabe for a couple of weeks. After this session it will be back to the 3 week interval.
