Mr. Bunsen has decided to fall madly in love with my left and right arms. Whenever I go and play with him (pardon the expression) he gets me flowers, wine and puts on fine music and then proceeds to hump the hell out of my arms. As much as I "like" Mr. Bunsen I would prefer not to be the target of his desires !
Can anyone recommend something (anything). And no, Mr. Bunsen and I are not gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that :)

To our Moms
I suppose you could substitute Mom for Dad, Sibling, friend etc etc. So take no offense.
At 3 yrs. "Mommy, I love you".
At 3 yrs. "Mommy, I love you".
At 10, "Mom, whatever".
At 16, "My Mom is so annoying".
At 18, "I wanna leave this house".
At 25,"Mom, you were right".
At 30, "I wanna go to Mom's house".
At 50, "I don't wanna lose my Mom".
At 70,"I would give up EVERYTHING for my Mom to be here with me".
You only have 1 Mom.

Only in Bulawayo
Only in Bulawayo could you see a "robot" (traffic light) displaying red and green at the same time !

Chemo 17 (Round 7)
Back to reality !
Another good check up today, All the vitals were good, weight stable, blood work fine. I discussed a few issues with Dr. Schraeder but all is well. Chemo went without a hitch and I was out in 3 hours. How is that then ?
My next chemo session will be October the 10th and my next scans will be October 4th.

There by the grace of ............
All these people (black, white etc.) have been f*cked over by everything society has to offer. Basically in Zimgabe the government has nothing to offer and offers nothing !
There by the grace of G*d go you and I. I don't care if they are drunks or whatever. They have been dealt a shit hand. I will always help as long as I'm able.
I know we learn something from this. Just look around at what we have (for the most part). Are things perfect ? No. But our plight is a lot better than theirs ! Thank you Mr. White and Mr. Hutchins for opening my eyes. G*d bless.

Last day in Bulawayo
My last full day in Bulawayo :(
Bought donuts for all the staff at Solomons and gave Mr. White and Mr. Hutchins a pair of jeans and a shirt each. Fuck, the stuff they were wearing was disgusting. Poor bastards.
Went to Carmel school to get my books for learning Ndebele.
Midi's for coffee where I met this Portuguese Gentleman who happens to be the regional governor for Rotary International for this whole geographic area. Maybe he will be able to help us with the medical supply shipments as well.
Rafael's for lunch at the restaurant at his store. Very good fish.
Shopping for curios at Jairos Jiri by city hall. Jairos Jiri is a organization that helps handicapped Zimbabwean Adults and children. A great organization.
Dr. Phil Mitchell and Megan (daughter) came to visit. He is an old school mate who lives in the USA and is doing wonderful medical work in Zimbabwe.
Last night dinner with Silvi and Lee at The Bon. Very naace.

Rugby on TV and Field Hockey live
I must say that the power cuts seem a little more frequent than I remember in the past. But you make do with generators, timing and good old wood or gas stoves.
Went to The Coffee Shoppe to watch the Springboks play Wales. Boks won 17 – 16. Very Lucky.
Off to Zimkids to watch afternoon activities run by the council of elders. Silvi came with and saw the kids and the Center for the first time. Then back to the house for tea and cake.
Silvi and I went to watch Here is the breakdown for the field hockey adventure:

Silvi and I went to watch Here is the breakdown for the field hockey adventure:
- 3 minute drive to the stadium to watch the Africa...........final between South Africa and Egypt.
- Opted to park outside the stadium and walk in. That took 1 minute 30 seconds.
- Paid our US$2 entry fee and went to look for seats. Decided against the grand stand and went to sit on the grass at the opposite side of the field. Superb seats.
- We left about 3 seconds after the game ended. South Africa winning 1 to 0
- The drive home took a grueling 3 minutes.
Carpe Diem.
