The Plan

As stated previously, here is the medical plan. I will have a treatment May 18th (Chemo 28 Round 7) and then I will have PET/CT scans June 4th. If the scans show stable and no spread then I am going to take approximately 3 to 4 months off of all treatments and medications. I will be re-scanned around the middle of September.



It’s so much fun “living” scan to scan. NOT !!!

The last 3 episodes of House have been the toughest shows I have watched in a very long time. Too close to home. For those of you that have seen these episodes, you will understand. For those that have no idea what I’m talking about, sorry !

The latest medical update

After being in constant treatment for the past 4 ½ years I have asked my doctors for a break from all treatment. I’m not being careless or flippant with my health and well being but I really need a break both mentally and physically.

Here is the game plan. I will have a treatment May 18th (Chemo 28 Round 7) and then I will have PET/CT scans June 4th. If the scans show stable and no spread then I am hoping to get 3 to 4 months off of all treatments and medications. At which time I will be re-scanned.

It’s been a long 4 ½ years but I really understand that the alternative is not good :-)

Do I miss work ? NO ! Do I miss flying and my fellow aviators ? Hell, YES !
