Wednesday's vet visit

No, not for me! It's for Max. Gotta take him in for his yearly Lyme vaccine shot. Otherwise, he is doing quite well for an 11 year old Wheaten Terrier. Still enjoys his walks in our forest with me but I can't keep up. He keeps looking back thinking "what the hell's wrong with him?".

Got an appointment with Dr. Ward today. Still trying to sort out the sleep deal. Rather crappy as of late. It reminds me of my flying days, or should I say nights? My flying Buds will relate to this quite well.

  1. I must say, Ade, you're starting to sound like a tri-athlete! Swimming, bowling, and, well, walks in the woods! I admire your determination to get out there and do all that stuff. Frankly, you're doing more than I am.
Wishing you luck with your appt today. I know the fatigue is a challenge--not unexpected. And also the food thing. Maybe bit by bit you can ingest enough of the good stuff your body needs.
Re: Max. We've got 2 dogs: a 15 year old Rat Terrier, Wally, and a 2 1/2 y.o. Yorkie, Corky. Corky just had his teeth cleaned and also got his Lyme vaccine. Don't ask how much it cost! Yikes! They really soak ya! It kills Moose that we have to pay so much for a cleaning, considering he's a dentist. Just made an urgent appt for Wally this am to have the vet see him about his "teeth," if you can call them that at this point. They are in terrible shape; I'm sure he's gonna have to have a bunch of them pulled. Oy! They are an embarrassment to the Zylber family! But, as you certainly can understand, he's worth whatever has to be done to keep him in shape. More on that later.....Take care. Hope all goes well today at the doc's.

  2. Skinny! Greetings from PIT. Doing the brutal long-haul over to Philly and back every night. Oh, this night stuff is killing me ;-) Miss flyin' with ya, mate.

Sorry I haven't been on in awhile - was trying to muddle thru recurrent. Somehow they let me slip thru for another year, whew! Nonetheless, you and your family have been in my daily thoughts. Good to catch up on your blog - thank you for sharing your ordeals, trials, ups & downs. I don't know if I could keep up your pace! Hang in there, buddy! You're reminding me of a marathon runner, just putting one foot in front of the other, toughing out the uphill grinds. You've got a wonderful family and a big fan base cheering you on every step. Love ya, man!
