Rugby on TV and Field Hockey live

I must say that the power cuts seem a little more frequent than I remember in the past. But you make do with generators, timing and good old wood or gas stoves.
Went to The Coffee Shoppe to watch the Springboks play Wales. Boks won 17 – 16. Very Lucky.

Off to Zimkids to watch afternoon activities run by the council of elders. Silvi came with and saw the kids and the Center for the first time. Then back to the house for tea and cake.

Silvi and I went to watch Here is the breakdown for the field hockey adventure:
  1. 3 minute drive to the stadium to watch the Africa...........final between South Africa and Egypt.
  2. Opted to park outside the stadium and walk in. That took 1 minute 30 seconds.
  3. Paid our US$2 entry fee and went to look for seats. Decided against the grand stand and went to sit on the grass at the opposite side of the field. Superb seats.
  4. We left about 3 seconds after the game ended. South Africa winning 1 to 0
  5. The drive home took a grueling 3 minutes.
Sunday night dinner at Silvi and Lee was wonderfully prepared by Loveness. Sadza, chamoolia and nyama (corn meal, veggies and meat). My favorite African dish.

Carpe Diem.
