My mid-life crisis

Yet another one !

I have joined the swelling ranks of lemmings that have bought a Mac. Yes indeed. I am now the proud owner of a MacBook Pro 13.3 inches.The inches referring to the screen size :) But honestly. Once you have had a Mac you never go back. I am selling my PC desktop and laptop and will now only have one computer. Any one wanna buy some PC's ?

I justified the purchase by telling myself it was a upcoming father's day gift from Diana and the nerdlings. So I guess a thank you is in order. At least it's slightly cheaper than a Harley or a Ferrari.

Fiver has joined the ranks

We have a new addition to the Suskin family. Fiver, a small black "lionhead" bunny has come to live at 5 Valley Gate Way. It was a gift from Michael to Robyn. Fiver has joined up with Nyoka (Michael's ball python) and Trechtobal Gomez (Max) to complete the Suskin farmyard !

Of course Max is still "top dog". When he was introduced to Nyoka he couldn't figure out what the hell it was. But he quickly figured out what Fiver was all about. In true Terrier form he just wants to chase Fiver all the time. We are not sure what he would do if he got a hold of her but we aren't about to find out anytime soon.

Quite a number of years ago we were at a petting zoo and the picture below fortold an interesting prophecy. Even better than Nostradamus could have done.

 That was then and this is now.

I have been remiss (a very naughty boy)

I am so far behind with my blog updates that I swear my head is going to explode. I will try and catch up over the next few days but it's going to be busy. Monday is chemo day, Tuesday is the appointment with the heart (cholesterol) doctor and Wednesday is scan day. I also need to check in with Dr. Sidransky about the complete gene sequence.

I am having a ball here in Bulawayo. The weather has been fantastic and I've been really busy with all my friends. I have also visited the ZimKids center and it's really wonderful to see how they are moving along with the construction. We also got to see the kids during their activities. I made my rounds to the different hospitals and am hoping we will be able to ship the supplies out soon from Baltimore.

I know it's kind of late but this is how to create your very own Royal name. I used mine at the wedding.

1. Choose Count, Lord, Viscount II, etc. etc.

2. Choose a grand parents first name.

3. Choose your first pets name.

3. Choose the name of the first street you ever lived on.

4. Feminize or hyphen your surnames as appropriate.
